ZMF 2010 Presents Nine Marimba Concerts in Amsterdam

For our ninth year, ZMF is thrilled to visit this vibrant and beautiful city. This marks the first time ZMF is based outside the U.S.A.

Please join us for nine concerts at Conservatorium van Amsterdam between 25 June and 10 July. The programs will feature this year’s renowned faculty, guest artists, and emerging marimba stars performing a wide range of music: from classical arrangements to contemporary works—some with pop and jazz influences.

The concerts are a focal point of Zeltsman Marimba Festival 2010, an intensive 16-day seminar co-sponsored by Conservatorium van Amsterdam. More than 50 participants will gather to attend master classes, exchange ideas, and share music for the marimba and other percussion instruments.

ZMF 2010’s faculty, performers, guest speakers, and participants are attending from a total of 23 countries, and 14 states from across the U.S.A.
